Based in Lakewood, CO; Swift Optics has been making optical items since the early 1920's. Like most
optical companies, they provide a assorted variety of optical products like riflescopes, microscopes, and spotting scopes. Swift offers a full line of scope for nearly all needs.

Swift markets scopes under two different levels: the SwiftReliant series and the SwiftPremier series. The SwiftReliant series is their entry level series that consists of a few fixed power models and a few 3X9 models. The SwiftReliant models are really made for those shooters and hunters that want a basic no frills scope at a lower price.

If the SwiftReliant doesn't offer the power or options that you prefer, consider looking into the SwiftPremier series. Only available in variable powered models, the SwiftPremier series offers 24 different models to consider. In terms of magnification, this series ranges from a short range 2.5 all the way up to a long range 8X32 version. The higher grade Premier models feature a higher quality of lens that allows more light transmission and a clearer sight picture. The most popular Premier series seems to be the Swift 676 Premier Series. This model features a unique speed focus feature and a 4-12x40 adjustable objective lens. This model also seems to be one of their most versatile models as well since it's level of variable power can be used for both large game and medium distance shooting. If you prefer a longer distance model, consider the Swift 672M. It's 6-18x50 adjustable objective has more than enough power for most long distance shooting.

The major differences between the two different families include the fact that SwiftPremier models come with a lifetime warranty versus SwiftReliant models have a 2 year limited warranty. The SwiftPremier models also feature better glass, better components, and a higher quality sight picture.

Although Swift currently doesn't have any scopes targeted at blackpower shooters, they do offer a relatively new line of pistol scopes. They offer six models that include 5 fixed power models and one low powered 2X6 adjustable.

Not as well known as some of the American made scope producers, Swift is more focused on budget minded hunters and shooters who wanted a good scope without paying through the nose.

If you are in the market for a rifle scope, then you probably already know that it can be a difficult decision to make. All the different models and features make locating the perfect one for you almost impossible. You might want to take a look at the line of Swift riflescopes as they make a very nice scope at very reasonable prices.
